Together we can support those affected from spinal cord injuries

Horatio's Garden is a national charity creating and nurturing beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres to support everyone affected by spinal injury.

A spinal cord injury is a traumatic, life-changing event. It is estimated that there are 50,000 people in the UK living with a spinal injury and each year approximately 2,500 people are newly injured. The majority of patients spend upwards of two months in hospital and during that time they have little to no access to the outside world.

Horatio’s Garden is working to change that. Because, research shows that being in contact with a natural environment contributes to an improved sense of wellbeing, which can have a positive impact on people’s rehabilitation.

“This collection was inspired by a moment from my real-life story. Because of a spinal stroke, I was hospitalized for several months and Horatio’s Garden was where I felt I could be vulnerable, where I could heal, hope and smile again.”

This wonderful garden gave me memorable moments with my wife and son. It was the place where I could reconnect with my family and the place where I charged myself with the power to continue.

I truly hope this jewellery will offer pure emotion, hope, and a smile to the one who wears them, making him or her feel that life should be celebrated. Just as I felt it in Horatio’s Garden.

Meaningful Jewellery that makes a difference

The connection with nature that we experienced in the Horatio’s Garden, the fragility of flower petals, the uninterrupted activity of bees and the special coloring of plants and bugs inspired us to create this wonderful c ollection, which is about finding inner peace, serenity, and hope.

But just creating this beautiful collection wasn’t enough for us, that’s why we commited TJS London to support the Horatio’s Garden Charity.

So, for every piece of jewellery you buy from this collection, we will donate 25% of it’s value (ex. VAT) to the Charity, to help them on their mission to heal people affected by spinal injury.
